1. Install and open GreatsHub
Install GreatsHub from the Shopify App Store and approve the permissions displayed by Shopify. Open the app from Shopify Admin → Apps. The Overview and Launch Guide show your current setup progress.
2. Create earning rules and rewards
In Points & rewards, add at least one active way to earn and one active reward. Choose values customers can understand and that fit your store margins. You can add purchase, signup, birthday and supported engagement rules according to your plan.
- Give each rule a clear customer-facing label.
- Confirm points and discount values before activating.
- Use Referrals only after both customer and friend rewards are configured.
3. Brand and enable the storefront rewards window
Open Branding to choose the launcher icon, label, colors, position and reward-window content. Then open Storefront setup, launch the Shopify theme editor, enable the GreatsHub app embed and save the theme.
4. Complete a storefront test
Visit the storefront in a private browser window. Confirm the launcher opens, create or sign in to a customer account, and place a Shopify test order. Check Customers and Analytics after Shopify processes the order. Test discounts before publishing them broadly.
5. Manage members responsibly
Use Customers to search members, review balances and activity, export eligible data, or make a manual adjustment. Add a meaningful note to every manual points change so your team and customer can understand it later.
6. Understand plan access
Your active plan controls monthly rewarded orders, rule limits, analytics history, referrals, branding, integrations, exports and support access. The app prevents saving or opening features that are not included. Review the complete plan comparison before upgrading.
